How the situations in Algeria and Libya have been linked

Younes Abouayoub of the United Nations discusses interaction between the political situation in Algeria and Libya.
Younes Abouayoub is director of the Governance and State-Building Division for the Middle East and North Africa at the United Nations.
He was head of the political office of the UN under-secretary general 
for conflict prevention and senior political advisor to the UN secretary general special envoy to Burundi.
Diwan interviewed Abouayoub in mid-May to get his views on the how the situations in Algeria and Libya have been linked, in particular how the recent protests in Algeria affected Libya.
